At RingByName, we believe our responsibility doesn’t end at the edge of our network.
Some of our customers use PRI services that depend on their own ISP’s Internet connection. When that Internet connection goes down for an extended period, the phone service can be affected as well – even though the underlying Internet problem is outside of RingByName’s control.
For most businesses, that is a serious inconvenience.
For a healthcare organization, it can be unacceptable.
Patients need to reach their doctors. Families need to reach healthcare facilities. Staff need to communicate. Calls simply cannot stop because an ISP is having a prolonged outage.
That is why, when circumstances require it, RingByName will go far beyond the normal scope of service to keep our customers reachable.
When a customer’s Internet service is unavailable for an extended period, we can deploy our cloud-based service as an emergency solution – providing a path for the customer’s phone service to continue operating, using our mobile app, for example, while the underlying issue is being resolved.
We don’t do this because it’s easy.
We do it because our customers are counting on us.
This is what separates a technology provider from a true communications partner.
Our philosophy is simple:
We will never leave our customers high and dry.
Whether the problem is inside our platform, at a carrier, with an ISP, or somewhere else in the chain, our first question is not:
*”Whose fault is it?”*
Our first question is:
“What can we do to keep our customer in business?”
That commitment is particularly important for organizations where being reachable isn’t optional.
At RingByName, reliability isn’t just something we put in a specification sheet.
It’s something we take personally.
